20th Senatorial District Photo Contest

Voting has begun in Senator Lisa Baker’s inaugural Scenes from the 20th District Photo Contest, where area shutterbugs submitted nearly 200 photographs capturing the people, places and things unique to the region.

Throughout the summer, Baker encouraged people to snap pictures while they were out and about in the sprawling district that encompasses all of Pike, Wayne and Wyoming counties and parts of Luzerne, Monroe and Susquehanna counties. Now, she is asking everyone to cast their vote and choose their favorites in the categories of: Animals/Events/People; Architecture/Historic; Landscape; and Nature.

Voting continues through September 30th. The photo receiving the most votes overall will grace the cover of the 2015 Scenes from the 20th Senatorial District Calendar. The top three vote getters in each of the four categories will be featured in a different month of the calendar.

Complete details can be found by going to http://www.senatorbaker.com/photo-contest/voting/
