Your annual youth talent show is a phenomenal idea. What you give the children of the Community who participate is more than you can imagine. You gave each child their five minutes of fame to perform in front of the community, friends and their families.
The judges had hard choices with all the talent that showed up. The judges also made each one feel special with the positive remarks they gave them. The children probably would not have an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and be judged by such influential people.
Anymore, we are quick to say what is wrong with our youth, but very seldom is anyone willing to give them a chance to show how good they really are. I hope you can keep this going, I know my grandkids are looking forward to next year. Great Job, “you” deserve a trophy.
Sincerely,

I live in Susquehanna County, Pa. and have been watching and documenting the Gas Industry Invasion since it arrived in 2008 and started drilling on two farms in Dimock, Pa., the Teel and Ely farms.
These are the latest stats for Susquehanna County:
- 1781 wells permitted, located on 450 well sites.
- 985 wells drilled or being developed.
- 905 DEP Violations for Susquehanna County since 2008.
- 38 Compressor Stations so far.
- Millions in DEP Fines in our county.
- Hundreds of Miles of High Pressure Pipe Lines creating a spider/pipeline web throughout the county.
- Five school districts are leased to gas companies and one school district, Elk Lake, has a gas site and high-pressure gas pipelines on school property.
- Most of the population is not employed by the gas companies, seven companies in all and most of the population is still struggling financially while several of our school districts had to raise school taxes this year.
- We have seven areas in our county with homes with contaminated water wells/springs since nearby gas drilling and pipeline construction.
- Are you sure you want this in your neighborhoods and county?
Sincerely,
