Lloyd L. Davis

Lloyd L. Davis 87 yrs old of New Milford, passed away April 27, 2014 of natural causes.

He was born in St. Paul Minnesota on March 7, 1927.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Patricia L. Davis of New Milford, Daughter Susan Sadlon of New Milford, Daughter Jan Davis of Odessa, FL., Son Mark Davis of Grand Terrace, CA, Daughter Kathryn Gonzalez of New Milford, Daughter Diane Morley of Scappoose, OR, His Grand Children Sean, Danelle, Tara, Callan, Chris, Corin, John, Anne, Dan, Mike, Patricia, Ryan, Brian, Rachel, Craig, Jen, Fallon, Jacob, Victoria, Nicholas & Melissa, His Great Grand Children, Curtis, Kaila, Rebbekka, Jarred, Alexis, Evan, Nathan, Dylan, Matthew, Timmy, Ryan, Connor, Emmalee, James, Jeremy, Quinlan, Lilybelle, Gemma, Danni, Ruby, Temperly, Jonah, & Chevy and one due in November.

Lloyd was a veteran of the U.S. Navy he served in WWII. He owed and operated his own business L&P Mechanical specializing in Heating, Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal.

Services will be held Saturday May 10, 2014 at the St. Lawrence Church in Great Bend PA. Reception immediately following at the home of Sue & Mike Sadlon 684 Blanding Lake Rd, New Milford.

His favorite thing to do was to play poker, and He knew when to "Fold Em".

Irene White

Irene White, 91, of West Pittston, Loving Mother, Wife, Sister, Faithful Christian went to be with her Lord on April 26, 2014.

Born Irene Imelda Pramick to Susan and Martin Pramick of Dupont, she grew up in Exeter and graduated from Exeter High School.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, Immaculate Conception Church, West Pittston. Irene was employed by General Cigar in Forty Fort and later Consolidated Cigar in West Pittston where she was a manager of the Business Office. She was also employed as Secretary both at Schmaltz Construction in West Pittston and Radio City Appliance, Pittston. After taking time off to raise children, she was employed at Luzerne County Community College as Manager of their Business Office, retiring in 1993.

Irene spent many years flying to Atlanta or driving to upstate Pennsylvania to be constantly involved in her grandchildren's activities.

Preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years: Adam (Witkowski) White.

She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her children; Ann Moore and husband; Dr. David Moore, Joseph White and wife; Debra White, and her grandchildren whom she adored; Joseph White Jr., Austin, Texas, Kimberly Burke and husband; Sean,Susquehanna, Pa, Jennifer White and husband; Matthew Garcia, Austin Texas, Adam Moore, Portland, Oregon, Capt. Michael Moore, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Christina Moore, Athens, Georgia. Great-Grandchildren: Brayden and Matthew Garcia, Briana and Brian Burke.

Sister: Marie Vander, Beach Haven, New Jersey

Irene will best be remembered for her strong faith, her devotion to God and her Church. (former member of St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Pittston, her wonderful sense of humor and her boundless energy. She could even be found donating her time and energy at age 89 particitating with the Corpus Christi “Flood Relief” Parish Program.

She made us all feel Loved! Well done Mom!

The funeral was held Wednesday Morning at 9:30 A.M. From the Howell-Lussi funeral Home 509 Wyoming Avenue West Pittston with Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. In Immaculate Conception Church, Luzerne Avenue West Pittston. Monsignor John Sempa will officiate.

Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of Flowers memorial donations to be made to the West Pittston Library, to purchase a book in her honor.
