SCCTC Open House
Submitted by Amy Cook
The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center has recently completed the Student Built House Project. We will be holding an Open House to showcase the House Project and give the community the opportunity to tour the home. The home is 2100 square feet, two stories house, with 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths.
The Open House will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Hunsinger Road, Dimock, PA; light refreshments will be provided.
We invite you to be part of our celebration and witness firsthand the craftsmanship and skills of our students. All construction of the house was completed by the SCCTC students in the Carpentry and Cabinetmaking and Electrical, Heating and Plumbing Programs. These students are in grades 9 – 12 from Blue Ridge, Elk Lake, Lackawanna Trail, Montrose Area, Mountain View, Susquehanna Community, and Tunkhannock Area School Districts.
All are welcome to attend the open house and witness the skills our local students are putting to practical use.
For questions or directions, contact Amy Cook at 570-278-6670.
