Costume Contest At The Harford Fair

The first place in the cow division and the Best of Show Award went to the Duck Dynasty entry which included Lyndon and Kinsey Bello, Julia and Ian Briechle, Emory and Gavin Bewley and Keelan Pavelski. Other entries in the cow division included Garrett Peters and Kyle Bonavita.

Andrew Kowalewski, of Montrose marched into the show ring playing the part of a police officer with “Oscar” the lamb his prisoner. Andrew placed first in the sheep and goat division. Andrew is six years old and entering first grade at Blue Ridge Elementary School. Other participants in this division were Zeb Swartly and Autumn Bonavita.

To participate in the Animal Costume Contest participants bring their animal into the arena and dress their animal and themselves in front of the judges and spectators. This year’s judges were Dairy Princess Mercedes Spickerman and Fair Queen Taylor Watkins.

Molly Marie and Emma Louise MacDonald

Kevin and Stephanie MacDonald are proud to announce the arrival of their daughters, Molly Marie MacDonald, 6 pounds 13 ounces, 18 inches long, born at 7:21 pm and Emma Louise MacDonald, 6 pounds 10 ounces, 18 3/4 inches long, born at 7:22 pm, born on August 27, 2013. Proud Grandparents are Michael Ficarro and Judi Ficarro, Kevin H. MacDonald and Wendy and Paul Dudley.
