Mt. View Tourney A Great Success

The Mountain View School District 7th Alumni Association Golf Tournament was held at Rock Creek Golf Club. 17 teams, 31 Tee Sponsors, monetary donations and many raffle prizes helped make a very successful fday. Proceeds of $4,674 have been added to our Mt. View Alumni Scholarship Fund. To date, we have awarded 10 MVSD Alumni Scholarships and 5 R.W. Klenk Scholarships to graduating Mt. View seniors.

Participants and supporters included Mt. View graduates from 1960 through 2010, Harford graduates of 1953 and 1955. Paul Gere, Brooklyn High School Graduate in 1944, was great help at the Club House. Brion Stone, Mt View Golf Coach and 3 student golfers won prize money. Mt. View Superintendent, Francine Shea, supported our Tournament with a raffle prize and very graciously helped to serve the lunch. Our special friend, Coach Bill McLaughlin played on a team and gave a donation.

Our sincere gratitude to every one of our generous supporters. We look forward to seeing them all next year.
