The Second Sunday Service of Vespers continues on Sunday, January 8, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, corner of Church and Chestnut Streets, Montrose, PA at 5:00 p.m. Greeters will be Sharon and John Siedlecki. Duane Hinds will welcome the congregation; prayers will be offered by Dennis Feece. The members of the Holy Name of Mary Church Youth Choir, under the direction of Thomas Welch and Jean Starzec, will provide special selections. The Homily will be given by Father Gerard Safko. A light meal prepared by Father Safko will be served by Beverly and Florian Pasketa, Emanuel DeBonis and Brenda Pytlik. Everyone is welcome to attend this ecumenical service.
The Harford First Congregational Church Youth Group was one of many organizations that helped at United Cerebral Palsy of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s annual Holiday Gift Wrap fundraiser held at the Viewmont Mall from Black Friday through Christmas Eve.

Proceeds from the event were designated for the agency’s Early Intervention services. Early intervention involves educational and therapy services provided for children with special needs in their homes or area day care centers or preschools which they attend. UCP of NEPA provides these services for children who live in Susquehanna, Lackawanna and Wayne counties.
