WILLIAM W. KACYON

William W. “Bill/Czech” Kacyon, 71, of Montrose, PA, died very early Sunday morning, October 3, 2010 at Endless Mountains Health Systems after several years of failing health.

Born July 22, 1929 in Berwick, Columbia County, PA to the late Stefan Luigi “Steven” and Grace Laura (Myers) Kacyon, Bill was also predeceased by an infant son; wife Phoebe Jane (Yeager) Nelligan Kacyon; step-daughter Deborah Marie (Mattie) Nelligan; sister Ruby Massinotti; and brothers, Robert L. “Bob” Kacyon, who was killed in action in 1945 in Germany in World War II, and Clifford Kacyon.

Bill hadn’t maintained a close relation with his family over the past several years, but survivors include: Two sons and their spouses, Steven Kacyon, Berwick and Brian Kacyon, Tank, PA; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Atwood (Elaine) Pursel, Berwick and Mrs. Delroy J. (Nancy) Hart, Sr., Nescopeck, PA; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Cynthia Jean Mattie) Bankes, New York State; several step-grandchildren and cousins, including Henderson Kacyon, Berwick, PA and nieces and nephews; and the friends he had made in the Montrose area over the past several years.

Bill had retired from Donald Dean & Sons, Montrose, PA and had worked several years for Berwick Milling, Berwick, PA and Ritz-Tex Manufacturing, Montrose, PA. Bill enjoyed carving and whittling.

Services were private from the Regan Funeral Home, Montrose, PA.

TODD M. O'HARA

Todd M. O'Hara, 28, of Susquehanna, PA passed away, Wednesday, October 6, 2010. Born November 22, 1981 in Long Branch, NJ, he was the son of Terrence O’Hara of Clarksburg, WV and Tina [Engstrom] Garcia, wife of Marcelo, of Susquehanna.

He was a carpenter for local contractors.

He will be missed by all and is finally at peace.

In addition to his parents, survivors include daughters, Paige O'Hara and Lacey O'Hara both of Susquehanna, PA; a son, Braden O'Hara of NC; sisters, Tiffany O'Hara and Terilynn O'Hara both of Montrose, PA; mother of his daughters, Ashley Kelly of Susquehanna, PA; mother of his son, Holly Ellis of NC; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Tuesday, 4:00 p.m., at Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., Montrose, PA 18801. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services on Tuesday.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to family expenses at, M&T Bank, 4481 Vestal Parkway East, Vestal, NY 13850.
