Mountain View FBLA Succeeds In Hershey

The Mountain View chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America sent 14 students to the State Leadership Conference in Hershey, Pennsylvania to compete in various events from April 11 to 14. Along with competing in their events, students attended many different workshops that taught them valuable life skills such as time management, leadership, and goal setting. The keynote speaker, Mr. Russ Peak, taught the students about staying focused and never giving up. Mark McDonnell placed fifth in the FBLA Creed and Code of Conduct open event, and The Parliamentary Procedure Team of Jill Roeske, Kristina Fallon, Lindsey Harvey, Dominique Chadwick, and Jimmy O’Brien placed seventh in the state. All of the students worked hard in their events, learned a lot of valuable lessons and enjoyed meeting new people.
