4-H Club News

Norfolk Riders 4-H Club is off to a Great Start! We have had several meetings now and are enjoying learning more and more about horses.

Some of our meetings included learning how to determine a horse’s age by their teeth, and also working on ground work to have quiet respectful horses. We will continue with many hands on meetings all throughout the year. Our next meeting is December 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Norfolk Heritage Farm, Montrose. Mt. View Garden Club Update

The November Meeting of the Mountain View Garden Club was held on November 17 at the Clifford Twp. Vol. Fire Hall. Colleen Bobrovcan introduced the guest speaker Phyllis Reinhardt on the care and benefits of House Plants.

The Clifford Veterans Day Committee thanked the Garden Club for donating a wreath at the Clifford Veterans Memorial for Veterans Day.

The Holiday Party will be held December 15 at Stone Bridge Inn, Uniondale. Members are asked to bring a ten-dollar gift. Reservations must be made by December 9 by e-mailing pumpkinmonshine@comcast.net or jodihall@nep.net.
