Christian Chludzinski Celebrates Graduation

On Saturday, July 25, a high school graduation ceremony and party were held for Christian Chludzinski of Gelatt. Christian is the 15 year old son of Ed and Nancy Chludzinski, and has been parent-educated since birth. Along with his proud parents and brother Austin, approximately 43 important guests witnessed the graduation ceremony held at Valhalla Castle in New Milford.

The ceremony included an opening prayer, a few speeches and awarding of the diploma and valedictorian medal. The CD player experienced technical difficulties, which rendered "Pomp & Circumstance" a bit abbreviated.

Following the ceremony, the party kicked into high gear and included a "Pie the Graduate" raffle, swimming, badminton, various games and lots of eating and drinking.

Because Christian aspires to serve in one or more branches of government, he is currently interning at the Montrose Courthouse gaining valuable knowledge. During the upcoming school year, he will take online college classes. Christian plans to attend college full-time in Fall of 2010.
