TONIA KAYE (MORRISON) KNORR

Tonia Kaye (Morrison) Knorr, born May 29, 1943, lost her fight with breast cancer and passed away on August 11, 2009.

She is the daughter of Clara and Rolland Morrison (deceased).

She resided in Quartzsite, Arizona with her husband, William Knorr.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Knorr) Beesley married to Daniel Beesley; sons, William Knorr, married to Michelle Knorr, and Michael Knorr along with seven grandchildren. Tonia has two brothers, Ronald and Richard Morrison and one sister, Nancy Morrison.

Tonia was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be very missed. Mom was diagnosed in February, 2008 and wished to donate herself to cancer research when the time came. The family asks that donations be directly made to breastcancer.org in memory of her.

PENNY L. RAFFERTY

Penny L. Rafferty, 45, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital. She is survived by her companion of more then eleven years, Dale Good.

Also surviving is her mother, Edna Marshall, Great Bend, PA; four children, Jessica Rafferty, Wayne and Heather Rafferty, Megan and Ricky Woodward, and Christian Good; three grandchildren, Chasity Rafferty and Tyler and Dakota Woodward; a grandmother, Eva Wilbur; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Penny was a loving mother and her four children were her pride and joy. Her family would like to thank the staff of Barnes-Kasson Hospital and Asera Care Hospice for their tender care and support.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the United Methodist Church, Susquehanna, PA. Friends may call from 6-7 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.
