It’s A Girl!

Kaydence Michelle Fiske was born Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 8:40 a.m. at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna. She is the daughter of Michael J. Fiske, Sr., Susquehanna and Shelley Edwards, Conklin NY.

Kaydence She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 19 inches long at birth. She was welcomed home by two sisters, Devene Fiske and Chasity Fiske.

Grandparents are William Fiske, Sr. and Evelyn Fiske of Susquehanna.

Wedding Announced Smith – Sowden

Andrea Smith, daughter of Patricia Smith, New Milford, was married on November 14, 2008 to Michael Sowden, son of John and Karen Hoffman, both of New Milford.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Blue Ridge High School, and a 2008 graduate of Misericordia University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She is currently a registered nurse at Moses Taylor Hospital's Cardiac Unit.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Blue Ridge High School, and a 2000 graduate of Broome Community College, with an Associates Degree in Telecommunications. He is currently employed by Tobyhanna Army Depot Defense Support System.

The marriage was a private ceremony held at Nay Aug Park, Scranton, Pennsylvania. The couple is planning a honeymoon to St. Barthelmy in the British Virgin Islands.
