Elk Lake High School Students of the Month

Kenneth F. Cuomo, Ed.D., Elk Lake High School Principal is pleased to announce the students who were selected as December, 2008 “Students of the Month.”

Students of the month are selected by nominations of any student in grades 10 – 12 by a teacher for outstanding achievement. The student must show individual effort, community and school wide effort, as well as effort in the classroom. Other important criteria includes a showing of personal growth, skill development, dedication, leadership, academic growth and improvement, school service and community service.

Dr. Alice M. Davis, Administrative Director of the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center (SCCTC), is proud to announce the SCCTC “Students of the Month” for November, 2008. Local Students On S. U. Dean’s List

The Shippensburg University Dean's List is published at the end of each semester. It is an honor roll of full-time students who have achieved academic excellence as evidenced by earning a semester Quality Point Average of 3.30 or better; or part-time students who have earned a Quality Point Average of 3.30 or better in the last 15 or more consecutive credits. The Dean's List for the Fall, 2008 semester includes the following students from our area: Jared Bradley, Hop Bottom; Scott Mclaine, Union Dale; Kasandra Ploutz, New Milford.
