Obituaries

ANNETTE SENIOR

Annette Senior, 49, of Hallstead, PA passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009.

She is predeceased by her father, Bernard Miluszusky.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifteen years, Brian Senior; her son, David Senior of Paoli, PA; her mother, Lillian Miluszusky (nee Simoncic) of South Abington, PA. Also surviving are three sisters, Bernita Czerpack (Jack) of Lansdale, Christine Milus of South Abington, and Marie Reese (Ted) of Lake Worth FL, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Growing up, Annette was involved in and was an Ambassador for the 4-H Club, and was also active in Girl Scouts and Junior Achievement. She found enjoyment in sewing, needlepoint, and long walks with her beloved dog, Kuma. She graduated from Abington Heights High School in 1977 and received an Associate’s Degree from Fisher College in Boston, Massachusetts. Annette was the first Director of Economic Development for Susquehanna County, and most recently was employed as the Office Manager for Endless Mountain Stone Company. Annette completed RULE VIII, and was involved in the grassroots effort of Vision 20/20, which later spawned Leadership 20/20. Annette was very active in the community and was a member, as well as past President of the Hallstead/Great Bend Civic Club, and a committee member of Boy Scout Troop 89.

A memorial service was held on Saturday January 17 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA, with Reverend Joseph P. Elston presiding.
