Fund Drive Is Underway

Attention, residents of the Susquehanna Fire Department coverage area.

The Susquehanna Fire Dept. is not sending out a second mailing, requesting contributions to our fund drive.

A major part of this decision is the new mailing addresses.

If you have already received a request form the Fire Dept. and have sent in your contribution, we thank you. If you have not sent in your contribution, we ask you to please consider doing it now. We are very aware of the stress of the holidays, and the economic situation is affecting all of us. The Fire Department is also feeling the stress.

There seems to be some confusion between the Fire Department Fund Drive, and the Ambulance Fund Drive.

Both the Fire Dept. and the Ambulance send out requests for donations at different times of the year.

The Ambulance does not receives any tax dollars, and relies entirely on donations and fees for service.
