Maj. Gen. Joseph J. Taluto, The Adjutant General, announced the recent reenlistment of members of the New York Army National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard. Locally, Staff Sergeant Robert Ralston from Hallstead, PA has reenlisted, to continue service with the Forward Support Company 204th Engineer Battalion. The New York Army National Guard is currently exceeding the nationwide goal for retaining citizen soldiers, with more than 85 percent of the force electing to continue service with their unit. The objective for Army National Guard units across the nation is to retain at least 75 percent of their members.
