ISABELLE L. WILLIAMS Isabelle L. Williams. 84, Meshoppen, PA, passed away on Saturday morning, July 12, 2008, after an extended illness. She was born to the late Haley and Reva (Williams) Lindsey. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Milly and Drew Lacey, Wisconsin; a grandson; several nieces and nephews. Isabelle was predeceased by a son, Raymond Williams; and a sister, Helene L. Osborne. Isabelle loved animals, flowers, and her extended family. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25, at the New Milford Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Thomas of the South New Milford Baptist Church officiating. Memorial contributions in Isabelle’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1101 Hill St., Jessup, PA 18434. JAMES E. ABBOTT James E. Abbott, 73, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Asera Hospice Care Unit in Peckville, PA, after an illness. He was born in Franklin Hill, PA, the son of the late Eldin and Alida (Foster) Abbott. James was predeceased by four brothers; five sisters; and a granddaughter, Stephane Moore. He is survived by his wife, Gail (Eaton) Abbott; five daughters, Jina and Tim Welch, Judy Abbott, Jane and Doug Evans, Barbara and Barry Randall, Cara and Jeff Goff; one son, Mark and Kate Moore; two sisters, Almina DeGraw, Naomi Wenzel; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. James retired from Lockheed Martin, where he worked as a welder. He also loved hunting and being outdoors. A memorial service was held on Sunday, July 20 at the Occanum Community Church, Windsor, NY.
