ESTHER L. ROSS

Esther L. Ross, 77, Syracuse, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY, following an illness.

She was born in Jackson, PA. Esther and her husband, Fredrick raised their family in Ararat, PA. She later moved to Manlius, NY, to be near her daughters.

She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Matthew) Fitzgibbons, Fayetteville, NY, Polly (John) Bowers, Liverpool, NY, Becky (Laccy), Mattydale, NY; three sons, Fred, Needles, CA, Gayle (Emily), Allentown, PA and Dale (Patty), Thompson, PA; two sisters, Mary Vincent, Conklin, NY and Gussie (Don) Oberhouse, Pemberville, OH; three brothers, David (Carol) Carpenter, Jackson, PA, Richard (Theolene) Carpenter, Winston-Salem, NC and John Carpenter, CA; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Monday, February 18, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, PA.
