ANN M. O’NEIL

Ann M. O’Neil, 71, Elmira, New York, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

Ann was born November 13, 1936, in Meadville, PA, a daughter of the late James and Claire Williams O’Neil. She is also predeceased by her sister, Mary Marr.

Ann is survived by her husband, Dr. Daniel A. Fisher, Elmira, NY; sons, Jim Gush, Dallas, TX, with wife, Anne and children, Stephanie Gilkison and Jordan Gush; Michael Gush, Elmira; Kevin Gush, Sarasota, FL; Paul Fisher, Chicago, IL, with wife, Michelle and children, Olivia and Cole; and Daniel Fisher, Jensen Beach, FL; daughters, all of Elmira, Susan LaVelle with husband, Patrick, and daughter, Taylor Ann; Kathryn Lynough, with children, Alyssa Claire and Richard Sean; and Amy Soutar; brother and sister-in-law, J. Roger and Joan O’Neil, London, England, with children, Claire and Mark; niece and nephew, Kathleen Marr and David Marr; great-niece, Ava Marr; along with numerous close friends.

Ann was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing. A dedicated and compassionate nurse, she worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital, retiring with 35 years of service. Ann was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose family was everything to her. As her family was growing, Ann’s home was open to all their friends and she was a “mother” to them all.

Services were held in Elmira, NY on Wednesday, December 5, 2007.

FRANK E. WHITE

Frank E. White, 86, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna.

He was born in Liberty Township, the son of the late Victor and Maye White.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Frances DeLarco White; his sister, Lena Rinker; two sisters-in-law, Marge White, Louise Wayman; brothers-in-law, James and Peggy Lee, Lorenzo and Fern DeLarco; many loving nieces and nephews.

Frank was a veteran of the US Army, serving during World War II in the 115th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Gun Battalion Medical Detachment.

He was retired from the Bendix Corp. in Sidney, NY, in 1985. He was a member of the VFW of Great Bend, PA.

Frank was lovingly referred to by all that knew him, including neighbors, friends and all others, as Uncle Frank. He was a good man with many friends who will be deeply missed by all.

The funeral service was held on Friday, December 7 at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, with the Rev. James Rouse officiating.

Burial, St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna.

CLAUDETTE V. PRATT

Claudette V. Pratt, 69, New Milford, PA, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2007. She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-five years, Kenneth B. Pratt.

Claudette is also survived by six children, Emery Thorn, Jr., Kevin Thorn, Carol and James Canfield, Connie and James Murphy, Bobbi Jo Pratt, Lisa and Michael Redlich; six siblings, Donna Delancey, Pat Morris, Debbie Cudo, Mary Bonavita, Candy Hedgety, Clarence “Mickey” Cobb, Jr.; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Clifford Cobb and one sister, Cindy Osborne.

Claudette showed her family daily how important they were to her, by her loving, her caring and her worry for them.
