CINDY LEE CHILEWSKI

Cindy Lee Chilewski, 54, Susquehanna, PA, has gone home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Binghamton, NY, after her courageous battle with cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Irma Crissell; daughter, Kellie McGuane, son, Joshua Lee, daughter, Cindy Majeski; grandchildren, Stephen Lee, Jordan Lee, Austin Groover, Deegan Lee; eight sisters, Sylvia and Steve Hodges, Jennie and Dick Groover, Chris Gates, Wendy and Alton Wahl, Darlene and John Sholtiss, Heidi and Bob Lesko, Tammy Allen, Tonya Crissell; many nieces, nephews and fiends.

Cindy will be greatly missed and remembered and always a treasure in many hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cascade Valley Church, Cascade Valley Road, Windsor, NY, with the Pastor Ernie Glastetter and Pastor Patty Hunter officiating.

Burial will be in the Cascade Valley Cemetery.

The family received friends at Hennessey’s Funeral Home on Tuesday.

ALICE RUTH EVANS

Alice Ruth Evans, 65, of Forest Lake, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at her home following her battle with cancer. She was born in East Hampton L.I., NY, to Grace G. (Owens) Hettiger, Forest Lake, PA, and the late George Nicholas Hettiger. Alice was also predeceased by her stepfather, Daniel J. Butler.

She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Tom F. Evans and Deb, Forest Lake, PA, Tim D. and Rebekah Evans, Forest Lake, PA, George J. Evans, Forest Lake, PA, Brian K. and Suzanne Evans, Montrose, PA, Robin L. and Harold Richardson, Forest Lake, PA; three grandchildren, Steven and Chelsi Evans, Ava Evans; brother and sister-in-law, George N. and Dorothy Hettiger, Forest Lake, PA; cousins.

Alice was a devoted mother, grandmother, and caregiver since she was 16 years of age, with her nursing abilities. She was an EMT with the Forest Lake Fire Co., was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a proud mother of four 20-year Veterans.

A Funeral Service was held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, with Rev. Robert C. Ford of Elisha’s Home Ministry. Interment was in the Birchardville Cemetery, Handrick Annex, located on Stone Street. Friends called on the family Monday evening.
