First Presbyterian Welcomes Minister

The First Presbyterian Church, 107 Pine Street, Hallstead, is proud to welcome our new minister, Rev. Nancy Cubitt. Rev. Nancy comes to us from Ireland and will be leading our worship service starting Sunday, June 24. Rev. Nancy comes will a deep commitment to the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She has felt God's working in her since the age of 15 and accepted the call to ministry in 1992.

Rev. Nancy comes to us from Castleblayney County, Monaghan, Republic of Ireland. She has worked with the Board of Education, served as the Director of Primary Education for the Republic of Ireland, was a member of the Board of Mission in Ireland, even being part of that steering committee. She was the Clerk of the Presbytery of Monaghan and Moderator of both Presbytery and Synod while in Ireland.

Rev. Nancy believes, relying on the Holy Spirit, she has a lot to offer our congregation and wishes to work and give of her best to the glory of God and the service of all of His people.
