Burial Service

Burial services for Mark Tarbox, Susquehanna, PA will take place at 11:00 a.m.,  Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Lakeside Cemetery, Lakeside, PA with Father Robert Simon officiating.

GERALD H. PERRY

Committal Service

A military burial service for Gerald H. Perry will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. At the Evergreen Cemetery in Susquehanna. Perry, 85, passed away March 3, 2007 at his home in Lakeland, FL. Born and raised in Susquehanna, Jerry, a purple heart recipient, was attached to the 9th Infantry division during WWII, where he served in 8 different campaigns, including the Battle of the Bulge, and received 8 Battle Stars and one arrowhead for his bravery in battle. He was also a 62-year member of the American Legion Post #86. One of his fondest moments in life was attending the WWII Memorial dedication in Washington, DC where he was given the distinct honor of placing a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown with a full military escort. Jerry was extremely proud of his service to his country.
