Fifth Army Veterans Reunion Tour Set

The annual reunion tour of the Fifth Army Veterans of World War II Italian campaign, their families and friends will visit Rome, Anzio, Cassino, Nettuno, Pisa, Florence, Futa Pass, Bologna, Venice and American Military Cemeteries.

Veterans who battled Nazi forces from 1943 to 1945 will visit Italy with their families and friends for ten days from May 7 to May 18, 2007. It will be a nostalgic tour of cities, towns and places where battles were fought and many died.

Pvt. James Hanjaras Completes Training

Army National Guard Pvt. James K. Hanjaras has graduated from the Food Service Specialist Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Lee, Petersburg, Va.

James is the son of James R. Hanjaras, Springville, and Wendy K. Seymour, Montrose. He is a 2005 graduate of Elk Lake High School.
