ANNA P. PLEVINSKY Anna P. Plevinsky, 92, New Milford, PA, passed away October 23, 2006 at Barnes-Kasson SNF. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sofie Pszetula Shobat; and her brother, John Shobat. She is survived by her son, Ted and Joyce Plevinsky, Liberty Township; nine grandchildren, Kathy and Danny Wages, Karen Shaver, Joseph Plevinsky, Marty and Claudia Plevinsky, Debbie and Ray Marsh, Greg and Margo Martin, Dianne and Olin Anderson, Larry and Sissie Martin, Todd and Lori Martin; four sisters, Julia Baglino, Stella Wain, Pauline Craft, Eleanor LoVuolo; many great-grandchildren; her special friend, Lorraine James. Anna retired from Endicott Johnson after thirty years. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, New Milford. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and home maintenance. Funeral services were held at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, on Saturday, October 28 and at St. John’s Catholic Church, New Milford, where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered by Father Joseph Sitko. Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow, PA. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to St. John’s Catholic Church, New Milford, PA 18834. GLADYS PICKERING Gladys Pickering, 87, Thompson, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2006 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital SNF, Susquehanna, PA. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Raymond C. Pickering; daughter and son-in-law, Rhaylene and Paul Britten, Thompson; grandchildren, Brian and Tammy Wallace, Thompson, Chad and Christina Wallace, Thompson, Shannon and Robert Wells, Apalachin, NY; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Darren Wallace, Thompson, Josiah Wells, Apalachin, NY. Gladys was a member of the North Jackson United Methodist Church, North Jackson, PA, and the Sunshine Chapter 258 Eastern Star. She and her husband, Raymond owned and operated the Raymond C. Pickering Farm Machinery in Jackson, PA for sixty years. The funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 25, at the North Jackson United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Bitler officiating. Burial, North Jackson Cemetery, North Jackson, PA. Arrangements were made by Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna.
