Monday October 30: Sloppy Joe, hamburger bun, scalloped potatoes, corn, chewy granola bar, fresh orange.

Tuesday, October 31: barbecue chicken, mashed potato, cabbage salad, Italian blend vegetables, butter top whole wheat bread, graham crackers, fruit cocktail.

Wednesday, November 1: Salisbury steak with gravy, brown rice, spinach, seeded rye bread, pears.

Thursday, November 2: sliced ham, sweet potato, green peas, honey wheat bread, graham crackers, chocolate pudding.

Friday November 3: breaded chicken cutlet, macaroni salad, mixed vegetables, honey wheat bread, peaches.

“Into The Woods” At Blue Ridge

On the weekend of November 10 – 12, the Blue Ridge Middle School Music Department will be presenting the great Broadway musical production, “Into The Woods.” The show originally starred the talents of Bernadette Peters when on Broadway in 1987. A winner of numerous Tony Awards, the show features many storybook tales intertwined into a very entertaining adventure that will keep the audience laughing throughout.

The show is directed by Mr. Jeff Burkett and Miss Amy Zakarauskus, and includes a cast of over thirty very talented students.

The Friday and Saturday night shows begin at 7:00 p.m., and the Sunday matinee begins at 3:00 p.m. Adults $5.00 – students/Senior Citizens $3.00.

Support the arts in our schools and enjoy a show that is for all ages.

The Susquehanna County Commissioners announced the Courthouse will be closed on Friday, November 10, in observance of Veterans Day. All court related offices will be available.

Library Friends Meeting

Everyone is encouraged to attend a meeting of the Susquehanna County Library Friends' group, in the Children's Room of the Main Library (Montrose) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 9. It's a great opportunity to hear more about the Library's programs, enjoy meeting friends and new people, or even (at some meetings) do something fun like making a craft. Stamp Classes At Montrose Library

Tina Sieben is offering two more sessions of her popular stamping classes. They will be held at the Main Library in Montrose, Wednesday, November 8 (6:30 to 8:30 p.m.) and Saturday, November 18 (1 p.m. to 3 p.m.). During each class, you will be making two greeting cards using exciting techniques or the latest tools of the craft. Class fee includes all materials needed. Space is limited, and on a first come, first served basis, so sign up today! You can register by signing up at the library or calling 278–1881.
