ALICIA M. NORRIS

Alicia M. Norris, 46, of RD 3, Susquehanna, PA. passed away Friday, April 7, 2006 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was predeceased by her mother, Louise (Keller) Carroll, in 1980.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Norris; a son, Cody Norris and a daughter, Kacey Norris, both at home; her father, James Carroll, Windsor, NY; two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Margaret Carroll, Windsor, NY, John and Laurel Carroll, Forth Worth, Texas; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Cindi and Ed Palilonis, Windsor, NY, Brenda and Doug Allen, Conklin, NY; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Beverly Norris, Susquehanna; many aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna. Alicia was employed for many years as a salesperson at Gery’s Hair Goods, Johnson City, NY. She was actively involved in all her children’s school and athletic programs and coached in the Tri-Boro Girls Softball League.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, April 11, at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna and the St. John’s Church, Susquehanna, where a mass of Christian Burial was offered by Rev. Robert Simon.

Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Fire Department, PO Box 175, Susquehanna, PA 18847, or to the Barnes Kasson Hospital, 400 Turnpike Street, Susquehanna, PA 18847.

DAVID F. HANRAHAN

David F. Hanrahan, 68, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna.

He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Joan Baldwin Hanrahan; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Shannon and Matt Poll, Towanda, PA, Adrienne and Bobby Lupo, Marydel, DE, (light of his life, his son Mule), Elizabeth Hanrahan, Susquehanna; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Melvin and Ann Hanrahan, Endicott, NY, Larry and Gail Hanrahan, Lanesboro, PA; brother-in-law, Wilson and Betty Baldwin, Thompson, PA; sister-in-law, Rhondra Baldwin, Thompson; three grandchildren, Noah Poll, Haven Poll, Madison Lupo; several nieces and nephews.

David was a member of the Lanesboro Community Church, where he was an Elder, Financial Secretary and Clerk of Session. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a craftsman who loved working with wood and making models.

The funeral service was held on Friday, April 7, 2006, at the Lanesboro Community Church, Lanesboro, PA with Rev. Carl Batzel officiating.

Burial, St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lanesboro Church, Lanesboro; or the Susquehanna Fire Department Ambulance, Susquehanna.

CLARICE E. CLIFF

Clarice E. Cliff, 75, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY.

She was predeceased by her husband, Norton J. Cliff in 1969.

She is survived by one son, David E.  Merkley, Canandaigua, NY; two daughters, Mary Ann McKendrie, Sugarhill, GA, Betty Balliet, Susquehanna, PA.

Clarice loved her hobbies, which were crafts and bingo.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 6 at the Lanesboro Community Church, with Rev. Carl Batzel officiating.

A graveside service was held on Friday in Farmington, NY.
