JACQUELYN C. EASTWOOD

Jacquelyn C. (Jackie) Eastwood, 65, Hallstead, PA, passed away February 11, 2006, in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Eastwood, Sr., in 1992; by her father, William Salansky; and by a sister, Joyce Deck.

Jackie is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Ilene Eastwood; two grandchildren, Kyle and Morgan Eastwood; her mother, Helene Kelly; a sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Don Davis; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Candy Salansky; a brother-in-law, Paul Deck; nieces and nephews, Jill Gulick, Mark Davis, Kevin Davis, Greg Deck, Kristy Bleck; and by her best friend and companion, Ray Austin and his family members, Marilyn and Rick Watkins and Devan, Raymond Austin III, and Kelly, Carter and Kara.

Jackie was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 357, Hallstead, and was a Lifetime Social Member of VFW Post 6223, Great Bend, PA. She was a longtime employee of Hallstead Supply.

Jackie was a loving and giving individual who enjoyed cooking and baking for her family as well as for others. She loved children and animals, especially Daphne, her favorite Scottie dog. She was excellent at organizing people and was an outspoken, loving person who cared for others more than herself. She had a heart bigger than life which was reflected by the people around her, especially her son and grandchildren, Kyle and Morgan.

A funeral service was held at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, on Thursday, February 16, with Pastor Donald Littleton officiating. Interment, Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead.
