Tuesday, February 21: Italian marinated chicken, Brussels sprouts, whole wheat bread, peaches.

Wednesday, February 22: stuffed peppers with sauce, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, dinner roll, graham cracker and peanut butter, fresh orange.

Thursday, February 23: sliced turkey with gravy, French style green beans, sweet potatoes, wheat bread, graham cracker and peanut butter, fruit cocktail, cranberry sauce.

Friday, February 24: spaghetti and meatballs, tossed salad, Italian bread, lemon meringue pie, diet vanilla pudding.

February 27 – March 3

Monday, February 27: roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, cabbage salad, honey wheat bread, apricots, graham crackers.

Susky Neighborhoods Improvement Project

The Borough of Susquehanna, The Susquehanna Community Development Association and The TREHAB Center will hold a community meeting to discuss the revitalization of the proposed “Elm Street” neighborhood improvement district. Funded primarily by a State grant, the Susquehanna Elm Street Plan will provide a strategy for beautifying and rejuvenating neighborhoods adjacent to downtown. Neighborhood residents are encouraged to attend the meeting. Topics will include your ideas for building and “streetscape” beautification projects; pedestrian and bicycle needs; clean, green and safety issues; and assets and constraints pertaining to neighborhood revitalization and livability. The public meeting will be held Wednesday, February 22, 7:00 p.m. at the Susquehanna Borough Meeting Room.

Proposed Elm Street neighborhoods include: East and West Main St., Franklin Ave., Washington St., Euclid Ave., Willow Ave., West Grand, West Church, lower Broad St.
