Mt. View School District Opening

Arthur J. Chambers, Superintendent of Schools for the Mountain View School District announced that classes for all students for the 2005-06 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 30, 2005. All buses will be operating on that day and the cafeteria in all schools will be open. Meal and milk prices are as follows: milk $.30; elementary school breakfast prices - $.75 paid student, $.30 reduced student, $1.25 adult; elementary school lunch prices - $1.20 paid student, $.40 reduced student, $2.35 adult; high school lunch prices - $1.45 paid student, $.40 reduced student, $2.35 adult.

Parents are encouraged to mail their child’s cafeteria deposits prior to the first day of school. For more info, contact the school at 434–2180.

Jeremiah Rosenkrans Graduates IUP

Jeremiah S. Rosenkrans, Cherry Street, Montrose received a BS in Physical Education and Sport degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania at the conclusion of the spring 2005 semester.
