RONALD ROWE

Ronald Rowe, 57, Susquehanna, PA, went home to be with his Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, July 25, 2005 at home.

He is survived by his wife, Susan DeWitt Rowe; son, Peter and daughter, Elizabeth, all of Susquehanna; his parents, Raymond (Joe) and Norma Rowe, Tunkhannock, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Warren and Cathy Rowe, Tunkhannock, PA; many special nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; and special friends, Don and Tim.

Ronald was a retired lineman for Penelec and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He loved people and loved life and will be deeply missed.

The family would like to thank the staff of Broome Oncology and Dr. Daniel Bellina and Barnes-Kasson Home Health, especially Karen for the care of Ron.

The funeral service was held on Thursday, July 28 at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, with Rev. Carl Batzel and Rev. Robert Simon officiating. Burial, North Jackson Cemetery, North Jackson, PA.

The Upright family is having a memorial on August 13, 2005 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Thompson Fire Company. Anyone who knew Kathryn and would like to attend is invited.
