RUTH H. GOW

Ruth H. Gow, 87, Susquehanna, PA, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 3, 2004 at Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna.

She was predeceased by her parents, Francis Henry and Dorothy Holtzmaster; her husband, Scott W. Gow, Sr.; two brothers, Walter and Tony Holtzmaster; one sister, Mary Jane Brainard.

Ruth is survived by four loving sons and three daughters-in-law, Gerald and Carolyn Gow, Susquehanna, Lynn Jesse and Mary Gow, Susquehanna, Scott W., Jr. and JoAnn Gow, NC, Lawrence V. Gow, NC; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, James and Margurite Harrington, CA, Raymond and Dorothy Barnes, NC; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Dawn Holtzmaster, Idaho, Donald and Shirley Holtzmaster, Chenango Bridge, NY; one sister-in-law, Doris Schenck, South Gibson, PA; several nieces, nephews; many loving friends.

She was retired from Bendix Aviation Corporation and spent her retirement years doing volunteer work at Broome Developmental as Senior Companion and Barnes-Kasson SNF.

Ruth was a member of St. John’s Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, of Susquehanna.

Funeral services were held on December 6, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, Susquehanna, and at St. John’s Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered by the Rev. Robert Simon. Burial, St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna.
