VBS' "Castle Kids" At Thompson Baptist Church

"Castle Kids, Choosing to Serve the King", is this year's theme for Vacation Bible School at Thompson Baptist Church. Running from July 26 to July 30, 9:00 am to 12 noon, the program will include The Castle Kid Pupppetts, game time with Shannon, Castle Kid crafts, fun and delicious snacks, great opportunities to learn about and study some of the thrilling heroes of the Bible, plus exciting new songs and choruses to sing!

Shannon Cooper, TBC's Summer Youth Pastor has already been working with the teenage puppeteers twice a week.

At first as they practiced the fine art of puppeteering they were using just socks for their puppets. But a full set of awesome hand puppets has arrived and the young people have begun learning how to manipulate them.

Families are encouraged to register their school age children (ages 5 - 12) early this year by calling Pastor Wyman at 727-2461 or 727-2225. There will also be a VBS registration booth in front of the church during the Fourth of July festivities in Thompson.
