GORDON FRISBIE

Gordon "Speed" Frisbie, 78, Susquehanna, PA passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital, Susquehanna, after an illness.

He was the son of the late Glenn and Viliot May (Kramer) Frisbie, Sr. and was predeceased by one sister, Lillian Fenescey.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel "Honey" Frisbie; one daughter, Sherry Frisbie Upright; one son, Richard Frisbie; one brother, Glenn "Bud" Frisbie; four grandchildren, Larry, Michele and Daniele Upright, Cassandra Roth; four great-grandchildren, Pateon Upright, Malaka Upright, Rachel Upright, Joseph W. Staria; several nieces and nephews.

He was retired from the Endicott Johnson Corp. and a veteran of the Unites States Navy, serving during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 86, Susquehanna.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2 p.m. at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 208 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, with Pastor Terry Jenks officiating.

Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hallstead, PA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
