RUTH BAYLESS PRICE

Ruth Bayless Price, 81, Susquehanna, passed away Monday, December 15, 2003 at the Barnes-Kasson Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, where she received the very best care by their competent and compassionate staff.

She was born on August 6, 1922 in Susquehanna, the daughter of the late Archie and Agnes (Corey) Bayless.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Donald F. Price.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Morgan, Syracuse, NY; one daughter and son-in-law, Agnes and Jim Vaughn, Raleigh, NC; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Fawn Terwilliger, Scottsdale, AZ, Keith and Sharon Terwilliger, Liverpool, NY; grandchildren, Christy and Drew Tulin, Blythe, CA, Jenn and Dan Chappell, Liverpool, NY, Casey Terwilliger, Liverpool, NY, Jeff Vaughn and Jamie Vaughn, Raleigh, NC; one great-grandson, Kaden Chappell; another great-grandson "on the way" and several loving nieces and nephews. Ruth is also survived by her stepchildren, Al and Patti Price, Farmington, NY, Donna and Fred Maas, Endwell, NY, Tom and Mary Price, Kirkwood, NY, Dean Price, Broomfield, CO; step-grandchildren, Edie and Randy Merle, Caledonia, NY, Amie and Chris Schell, Endicott, NY, Scott Price, Kirkwood, NY, Stephanie and John Morrison, Rochester, NY, Adam Price, Kirkwood, NY, Deanna Price, Thornton, CO; and special friend, Josie Price, Thornton, CO.

Ruth married and moved to Vestal, NY where she raised her family. She was an employee of Marine Midland Bank, John Hancock Insurance and Burt’s Department Store. In 1965 she moved to Raleigh, NC where she lived for two years. Upon returning to Susquehanna, she was an employee of Barnes-Kasson Hospital. She was a member of the Susquehanna United Methodist Church.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, December 20, at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, with Rev. Kenneth Bitler officiating. Burial will be in the Union Dale Cemetery, Union Dale, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Barnes-Kasson Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility Activity Center or Susquehanna United Methodist Church.

MARYLOU P. WELCH

August 19, 1937 – December 20, 2003

Marylou Phyllis Taylor Welch, 66, of Manteca, CA, died Saturday, December 20, 2003 in Manteca.

Mrs. Welch was a native of Pennsylvania; she lived in Manteca one year and previously in Sacramento for 20 years. She was a real estate property manager for five years. She enjoyed working on genealogy and researching her family’s history. She also enjoyed bowling and antique shopping.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Collins, Manteca, Penny Welch, Kim Mullin and Lonnie Welch, all of Sacramento, Tom Welch, Modesto, CA, Robin Mendez, Hilmar, CA, John Taylor, Pennsylvania; brother, Jack Taylor, Pennsylvania; sisters, Linda Cronk, Florida, and Shirley Inscho, South Carolina; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvern "Pete" Welch, and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held from the P.L. Fry and Son funeral Chapel, Manteca, with private burial.
