Enhanced by a multimedia presentation, the live drama will feature Joey Aikens, Joe Bissol and Melody Bissol. A CD of the program will be available that night. The drama, along with the music, will be made available at no charge to other churches; choir directors or ministers may obtain directions that evening on how to download the play from the Internet for their churchs nonprofit use. "The Grouch Who Found Christmas" is about a greedy Wall Street millionaire who cleverly manipulates stocks (like the recent Enron scandals), then makes a fortune by letting his companies go belly-up. (His name is Mr. Doug Grosh, but his employees secretly call him Mr. Grouch.) He likens his manipulation of the stock market on Wall Street to the sport of fishing. The play unfolds with a series of events that cause Mr. Grosh to discover the real meaning of Christmas. If you are looking for a wholesome family activity this New Years Eve, the Elkdale Baptist Church of West Clifford cordially invites you to attend this program. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served after the program. For more information or directions, feel free to call the church at (570) 2223723.
