Smn. Isaac A. Choplosky Completes Course

Navy Seaman Apprentice Isaac A. Choplosky, son of Donna Ritz of Hop Bottom, Pa. and Michael Choplosky of Quebeck, Tenn., recently graduated from the Basic Enlisted Submarine Course at the Naval Submarine School in Groton, Conn.

During the six-week course, Isaac learned the basic theory, construction, and operation of nuclear-powered submarines. Isaac also learned shipboard organization, damage control, and submarine safety and escape procedures.

Isaac joined the Navy in June, 2003.
