CHRISTOPHER S. MILLS

Christopher S. Mills, 26, of Binghamton, NY died Sunday, September 21, 2003. He was pronounced dead at Towanda Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA after collapsing at a Northern Tier Bruins football game, which he was playing in.

Born January 17, 1977 in Johnson City, NY he was the son of Missy (Mills) Tittle of Montrose, PA and the late Bernard L. Hurlburt, Sr. He graduated from Susquehanna High School in 1995 and served in the US Army for two years, stationed in Alaska. He was a football player for the semi-pro team, Northern Tier Bruins based in Towanda, wearing number 92. He was a truck driver.

In addition to his mother, survivors include her husband, Kevin; a son, Timothy Mills, Windsor, NY; maternal grandmother, Sylvia Hartwell, Susquehanna, PA; girlfriend, Liz Vallet; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jordan Mills, at home, Bernard and Diane Hurlburt, Jr., Roy and Sue Hurlburt, all of Susquehanna, Roger and Kathryn Hurlburt, Kentucky, Jeff Hurlburt, Syracuse, NY; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Tom Franks, Great Bend, PA, Hilda and David Lasky, Syracuse, NY; two additional "brothers," Eric Bixby and Allen Davis.

Services were held from the Bartron-Myer Funeral Home, Inc., a Selected Independent Funeral Home, 74 Church Street, Montrose, PA.
