HEADLINES: Mt. View Searches For GED Students The Mountain View School District invites anyone who did not graduate from high school to consider completing a GED (General Educational Development) program of studies and to take the GED diploma test. Successful students are certified as having the same basic skills as the students who have been graduated with a traditional high school diploma. The Mountain View program is offered free of charge to all adults residing within the school district. Students not living in the school district would be asked to pay a free of twenty-five dollars. Classes are scheduled for Monday and Thursday evenings, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., starting October 6, and will be completed in mid November. GED testing is also available by appointment throughout the school year. For testing information call Mrs. Rood at 4342180, ext. 353; leave a message.
