JAMES W. HERR

James W. Herr, 70, of Milford, PA, formerly of Starrucca, PA, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2003 at the Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. He was the beloved husband of Sally (Manfredi) Herr.

Also surviving are three sons, Stephen, Christian, Jeffrey; a stepson, Fred Biancone; a sister, Audrey Quickel; seven grandchildren.

Born in York, PA, he lived in Bloomfield, NJ; while there, he owned a liquor store in Newark, NJ for 15 years before retiring. After retirement, he moved to Starrucca, where he lived for many years until moving to Milford two years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War.

Services were held from Orange, NJ, with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Interment, Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
