Mountain View Searches For GED Students

The Mountain View School District invites anyone who did not graduate from high school to consider completing a GED (General Educational Development) program of studies and to take the GED diploma test. Successful students are certified as having the same basic skills as the students who have been graduated with a traditional high school diploma.

The Mountain View program is offered free of charge to all adults residing within the Mountain View School District. Students not living in the school district would be asked to pay a nominal fee. Classes are scheduled for Monday and Thursday evenings, from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m., starting February 3, 2003 and will be completed in mid-March. Walk-ins are welcome; you do not need to pre-register to attend class. Classes will be held in room 226 of the Mountain View High School. Feel free to come in anytime after 5 p.m.

GED testing is also available by appointment throughout the school year. Testing services are available to all students. For testing information call 434-2181, ext. 439.

Further information is available from Mrs. Rood at 434-2501, ext. 226. Please leave a message that includes your name, address, and phone number. Information will be mailed to you.
