JOSEPH J. LASHINSKI Joseph J. Lashinski, 97, formerly of Great Bend, PA passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 in Barnes-Kasson S.N.F. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Helen. Also surviving are two daughters, Terri Shea and Susan McAulliffe and husband Bruce, all of Hallstead, PA; two grandsons, Joseph and Thomas McAulliffe; one great granddaughter, Jillian McAulliffe; a sister-in-law, Lillian Sherba; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Frank Lashinski and two sisters, Stella Moore and Josephine Swawola. Joseph was a lifetime and charter member of both the Hallstead/Great Bend Lions Club and the American Legion Post #357, and a life member of the Hallstead/Great Bend Rod and Gun Club. He was a barber in the Hallstead Great Bend area for more then fifty years. Joseph was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Funeral services were held at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA Monday, August 24, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. and at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Great Bend, PA where a Mass of Christian Burial was offered. Interment was made in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Great Bend/Hallstead Lions Club, RR 2 Box 115, Hallstead, PA 18822. DOUGLAS M. DAVISON Douglas M. Davison, 31, of Susquehanna, passed away August 16, 2009 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. He is survived by his parents, James and Jean Kinsley, Hallstead, PA; a brother, David Kinsley; his fiancée, Michelle Lipko, Susquehanna; her children, Brodie and Kanor Haskins; maternal grandfather, Ernest Hotson, Covington, OK; aunts and uncles, William and Beatrice Kinsley, Endwell, NY, Charlotte Hines, FL, Barbara Reynolds, Newark Valley, NY, Rita Webber, Enid, OK, and John Earl Webber, Enid, OK; cousins, Robert Kinsley, William Kinsley III., Sean Kinsley, Scott and Alisha Kinsley, and Abigal Kinsley; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins in OK. Doug was employed with Eco International in Vestal, NY. He was an associate member of the V.F.W. Post #6223. He enjoyed playing horseshoes. He was of the Methodist faith. A funeral service was held Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Interment was made in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Great Bend, PA. WILLIAM S. MCKEAN William S. McKean, 83, of Oak Hill Road, Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2009, at his home after an illness. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Elsie (Morrison) McKean. William was survived by his life long companion Joan Tross and her family; his four children Clinton J. McKean, William G. McKean, Jackie Frobel, and Valerie Brooks; two sisters Lila Young and Lela Wolford; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and several nieces nephews and cousins. William was a retired Mink Rancher, and later owned and operated a Christmas Tree Farm. The family will be having a private service at their convenience.
