VIVIAN D. HALL The long journey ended and eternal life began for Vivian Hall, 74, formerly of Hallstead, PA on November 22, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Earl K. Hall. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Geiser in 1981. Also surviving are her children, Dorothy Backo and husband, John, Susquehanna, PA, Barbara Summers and husband, Lee, Hallstead, PA, and a son, John Geiser, Chenango Forks, NY; two step-children; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Friday, November 28 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Inurnment will be made at the convenience of the family in the Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hallstead, Hallstead, PA. MICHAEL J. CARICCHIO Michael J. Caricchio, 83, of Batavia, NY died Tuesday, November 18, 2008. He was born July 21, 1925 in Susquehanna, PA. Mr. Caricchio was a Korean War veteran and was the trainman for the railroad in Buffalo, NY. Survivors include his loving companion of 30 years, Clara T. Puzan; a brother, Jerome Caricchio, Ocala, FL; stepchildren; grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
