Joshua Jarnagin Is FC Rotary Award Winner

Eliza Vagni, principal of Mountain View High School, Kingsley, announced the selection of Joshua Jarnagin, son of Carol and Howard Jarnagin, Jr., Nicholson, as the Forest City Rotary Student of the Month for March. Joshua merited this honor as a result of high scholastic achievement, participation in a variety of extracurricular activities, and great potential for future service to society.

A high-ranking honor student in the academic course, Joshua participated in volleyball and basketball during his high school career. He is a member of the National Honor Society and FBLA, and has been very active in Knowledge Master, the Scholastic Bowl, and Envirothon.

After graduation in June, Joshua plans to attend a four-year college, possibly Penn State, to pursue a baccalaureate degree in biology.

Joshua and his parents were invited to attend the March 3 dinner meeting as guests of the Forest City Rotary Club.
