Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child
Submitted By Rae Fiske

Your shoes may be worn out, but your shoe boxes could still have thousands of miles to go. If you will fill a shoe box with gifts and bring it to Operation Christmas Child, they'll make sure that it gets to a boy or girl somewhere in the world who might not have Christmas if it were not for you.

Operation Christmas Child is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse, led by Franklin Graham.

Last year, over six million children all over the world received shoe boxes filled with toys, personal hygiene items, school supplies, candy and other gifts.

These children have suffered the effects of war, poverty, disease and disaster.

For some, this is the only opportunity they may have to learn of the love of Jesus Christ.

Help Operation Christmas Child recycle your shoe boxes.

They may be taken to New Milford United Methodist, Church Pratt St., until November 15.

For further information, call Rae Fiske at (570) 465–3760 or e-mail raefiske@nep.net.
