D. JOANN TERBOSS HONEYCHUCK

D. Joann “Judy” TerBoss Honeychuck, Ayden, NC, formerly of Susquehanna, PA passed away Saturday, August 13, 2005 at her home after a courageous “feisty” battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilfred and Mildred TerBoss, as well as her brother, Robert “Nobby” TerBoss.

She is survived by her children, Sherry Sheldon, Ayden, Marty and Debra Honeychuck, South Montrose, PA, Anita and Kevin Burdick, Binghamton, NY, Mike Honeychuck, Ayden; her siblings, Lynn TerBoss, Hallstead, PA, Karen and Lynn Wrighter, Newnan, GA, Sandy and Emerson Fiske, Hallstead, Linda TerBoss, Susquehanna; many treasured nieces and nephews; her grandsons, Matt and Sherry Lynn Sheldon, Ayden, Joel Sheldon, Raleigh, NC, Andrew and Greg Honeychuck, South Montrose.

She was born March 11, 1936 in Susquehanna and was raised there. She graduated from Laurel Street High School, married and was very involved in the raising of her children. She worked locally for many years at Kasson Industries, Widmann’s, and the American Legion.

She moved to Ayden in 1989 where she enjoyed working at a garden center until she retired. She spent her retirement gardening, traveling, and enjoying her children, grandchildren and especially her great-grandchildren, Isaac and Alex, as well as telling humorous stories about her family, children and treasured friends.

Her memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall in Susquehanna, on Saturday, September 17, at noon with a luncheon to follow.
