Lenten Meditation At Montrose Presbyterian

Living Way Of The Cross Scheduled

On Sunday evening, March 6, at 7:00 p.m. the high school age young people of Holy Name of Mary Parish, Montrose, will be presenting “The Living Way of the Cross.” This dramatic reenactment of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be enhanced with special music. Everyone is invited to attend. Father James Nash serves as Pastor of Holy Name of Mary Church.

Lenten Meditation At Montrose Presbyterian

Two Lenten meditations will be offered during the month of March at the First Presbyterian Church, Montrose, PA.

Mrs. Martha Denkenberger will present organ music on Wednesday, March 9 at 12 noon. Mrs. Denkenberger has served as organist at the Montrose United Methodist Church for nearly 14 years. She also accompanies "Saving Graces", a women's singing group from South Montrose.

Mrs. Sarah Bertsch will present organ music on Wednesday, March 16 at noon. Mrs. Bertsch served as organist at the church for over 30 years as well as playing for the "Hour of Inspiration" services broadcast over WPEL.

A soup and bread luncheon will follow each meditation.
