HEADLINES: A new Bible study, "Who is Jesus?," will be offered at the Great Bend Hallstead Lutheran Church, 302 Main St., Great Bend, on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. starting on October 7. "Who is Jesus?", the great figures of history are fascinating topics to study. Their lives, their ideas, their contributions to humanity are inspiring. Jesus of Nazareth stands without equal in this group. Billions of people have found hope and life and meaning in their relationship with Him. In this brief study, begin to examine what the Bible says about who Jesus is. Everyone is welcome to this informal class. The public is invited to attend a special presentation by the Bob Jones University "Truth in Action" drama team (pictured above) at South New Milford Baptist Church on Sunday, September 28 at 7:00 p.m. The program will feature an original drama entitled, "New Eyes." The drama team is touring the United States this fall. The members of the group are students at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. On Sunday, September 28, at 2:00 p.m. in the upper parking lot of Holy Name of Mary Church, Montrose at the statue of Saint Francis all the community is invited to the blessing of their pets. Father Nash serves as Pastor.

Missionary Conference At Hallstead Baptist Come join the First Baptist Church, Hallstead PA for a missionary conference. Rev. Leigh Adams and his wife Carol, Rick and Betty Enterline, along with Wayne Royce and his wife, Sue, will be telling stories about life on the mission field and what God has done through their work. Dates are as follows: October 1, 7:00 p.m.; October 3, 78:30 p.m.; October 4, 68:15 p.m.; October 5, 11:00 a.m.2 p.m. On October 5, there will be a potluck dinner at 12:30 p.m. After the closing service of the conference there will be a time of refreshments with more opportunity to get to know the Enterlines, Adams and Royces better.
