HEADLINES: Erica Riecke Makes N. U. Dean's List Boston, MA - Northeastern University is pleased to recognize those students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. Great Bend resident Erica Riecke, a Northeastern University student majoring in Physical Therapy, was recently named to the University's dean's list for the spring quarter 2003, which ended in June, 2003. To achieve the dean's list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.25 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean. Katie Brown Makes K C President's List Katie Brown, a student at Keystone College majoring in Criminal Justice, was named to the Presidents List for the 2003 spring semester. To qualify for the Presidents List, the student must earn a 4.00 grade point average. Katie, a 2001 Blue Ridge graduate, is the daughter of Marty and Kathy, Brown, of Hallstead. Area Residents Enroll At Syracuse University The following area residents were among the approximately 2,800 new first-year and transfer students who have enrolled at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, for the 2003-04 academic year: Bradley Warren, New Milford, enrolled majoring in policy studies; Brandon Robinson, Springville, enrolled majoring in physics; Elizabeth Leber, Thompson, enrolled majoring in human services and health professions.
