PFC Nathan S. Belcher Private First Class Nathan S. Belcher has graduated as a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Specialist from Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, MO. Prior to his schooling he attended Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC and completed his combat training at Camp Lejeune, NC. He has been assigned to the 3rd Force Service Support Group, Okinawa, Japan. PFC Belcher is the son of James and Frances Compton, Union Dale. He is the grandson of Franklin and Carole Belcher, Union Dale and Arthur and Geraldine Compton, Nicholson. Years in service: four and a half years. Fmn. Joseph Travis In Arabian Gulf Navy Fireman Joseph S. Travis, Jr., son of Bonne C. and Joseph S. Travis of New Milford, recently made a port visit to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii while on a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific and Arabian Gulf while assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, home-ported in San Diego. Joseph is one of more than 6,000 Pacific Fleet Sailors and Marines aboard the ships of the USS Nimitz carrier battle group. Joseph is a 2001 graduate of Blue Ridge he of New Milford, PA and joined the Navy in July, 2001.
